Heath Ledger????????!!!!!??????

Breaking news: Heath Ledger has been cast as the joker. Media outlets with the humor of highscoolers are already beginning to call it Brokebat mountain, but the movie ttile is actually going to be "The Dark Knight." I guess they didn't like my "Batman Finishes" idea. Anyways, just wanted to let anyone who still reads this thing know, if they didn't already.

Update: Now it looks like the penguin may be the second villain . . .
I was kinda hoping it would just be the joker, but what do I know, I'm not a director.

Now, I love Heath Ledger, but HUH?

I just don't see it, man.

Phil told me that last night and it intrigues me. I have no positive or negative feels towards the character of the Joker, so I'm openminded. Still pissed at what they did to Scarecrow, though - he's supposed to be so much cooler than the last movie portrayed him.

I forget, do you read comics?

I'm currently reading Detective Comics, Superman, Justice, All Star Superman, Wonder Woman, Justice League of America, 52, and Green Lantern in the DC universe, and Young Avengers, Civil War, Civil War: Young Avengers/Runaways, and She-Hulk in the Marvel Universe. I just started reading Detective Comics (Batman) so I haven't read any with the Scarecrow yet, but he was cooler in Batman: The Animated series. Of course, I did kinda like the Batman Begins take on the character, because he seemed so suave and cool but was really a monster.
