A couple of things . . .

Once again I start writing with no agenda. Halloween is coming. Jess decorated our apartment today. She does a pretty good job. Wouldn't want to let her know this, but I actually really enjoy the way she gets into the spirit. Even if it's 30 days away.

Her parents came up today. It was nice to see them. Her brother is going to be moving to florida to go to school for nautical mechanic stuff. Fixing boats and whatnot. He seems to enjoy the prospect. It'll be good for him to get out into the world since he graduated from highschool a while ago.

Right now I should be writing a direct examination for trial practice class, but I'm taking a break from that. They can be so tedious sometimes because you have to be careful how you ask the questions and what order you put them in. The prep for the class may be tough, but the in class participation is fun. I can't wait for it to be real. I desparately want to be in the court room. I want to own it.

I should get back to my prep.

Good luck with your prep!

And Jess puts me to shame! (I can't wait to see it!) I haven't even decorated. Mostly 'cause I think Garin wouldn't like it much if I did. We were in Kohl's yesterday shopping for some pot lids and I could seriously go nuts on buying things. I think if we get to the point where we have enough money for a house AND stuff to put in it, I want to go shopping and do it all over (dining sets and etc. I really like the dishes that are black with red inside. Oriental-like).

I was tempted to buy a candy dish shaped like a leaf, but didn't. The fact that we have no room for extraneous stuff also holds me back.
